Stewart Reid is an M.A. Global Governance student at the University of Waterloo, Canada, and is currently a Balsillie Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation. His research focus is on the role of small island developing states in the negotiation of a post-2012 climate change agreement.
Stewart completed his undergraduate studies at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, attaining a joint Honours MA in English and International Relations. Prior to joining Islands First, he conducted climate change research for Friends of the Earth Canada and the David Suzuki Foundation, and was a field staffer during Barack Obama's presidential campaign.
